Independent Review of Existing Policy Provides Peace of Mind

Recently we had a series of meetings with our Estate Planning Attorney to review and update our pertinent documents.  In the process, she suggested we have our LTC policies assessed, which we’ve had since 2002.  She suggested Melissa Barnickel for the job as she is a specialist in these types of insurance.  Since we had often wondered if our policies were still relevant and worthwhile today, we were delighted by the opportunity to have a trusted professional provide us with an independent review.     Very promptly we received a call from Melissa with good news.  Not only do we have good relevant policies, but ironically, they are the very same policies she selected herself back in 2003!  She took time on the phone to remind us of the highlights of our policies, along with valuable current statistics, and then documented all the information in an email to us and our attorney for our files going forward.  We sincerely appreciated Melissa providing the exact information we needed, concisely, and professionally.  Her extensive experience provided us with the confidence that if we need this insurance, it will be there to help as intended.  Should anyone we know expresses a need or interest in the types of insurance Melissa brokers, we will not hesitate to refer them to her.  Thanks Melissa!
